INTERIOR CITIES - PRAHA
The goal of this project is to explore the shapes, energies and drives of the city.
The city understood as a being, alive, with its own history, in constant evolution.
The city as a voracious beast, starving for experiences, for the lives of others off which to feed its own essence.
A being that lives according to different modalities, laws and timescales from those of man. Its history is formed from accumulated experiences of others.
Expectations, dreams, bitterness, memories and moments of life. Its own essence is ephemeral, constantly evolving, composed of the flux of energies generated by the experiences of the humans within it, in its belly, with the passage of time, producing strata of memories and experiences which slowly become its own essence.
The city as an arcane beast, morbidly fascinating and magnetic, yet dangerously voracious.
The city calls people into itself, lives off which to feed, through which to grow and transform.
Guardian, watcher, mother: its essence evolves and transforms as human lives unfold.
